The football pitch in Oberesslingen Zell is very large and pleasant. Unfortunately, very few seats and no roofing if it rains or if the sun is there.

Please read completely do not pay attention to the stars !!!! The staff was mostly very polite. However, one denied that one had cleaning problems, glasses and cutlery were sometimes not properly cleaned on the instructions one was grumbled one would have never had problems for 10 years and not even now. Unfortunately, the opposite has been proven. I do not blame you, but if you want to point out that this is checked. The food itself was okay, not mega but usable, about average standard. I continue to give 2 stars But since my brother annoys me here because the restaurant has such a hard time based on my star rating, I change this to 4 stars. However, I will not visit it again. In addition, he was asked by the owners to persuade me to do this very pathetically if they need it.

We got married in June 2018 in the log cabin of the Fautenhau Alm with about 70 people. The process, the decoration, the food and everything around it was exactly as we had discussed and wanted. We were completely satisfied and it was a great day. Many thanks to Ms. Steinbach and Ms. Ferber for the professionalism, the great and exact implementation of our ideas and ideas and the warm nature.

Fautenhau Alm Sonnenhof) New Year's Eve Party 2019 - great buffet but unnecessary rip-off New Year's Eve 2019 - 2020 at Fautenhau Alm. For the third time. Admission € 75 per person, drinks not included. First of all: for some, the perfect and extensive buffet may hide the other mistakes - but less and less for me and my wife! Unfriendly staff and shameless rip off with the additional service. We don't want to shove everyone together, there was also friendly service - staff, e.g. the nice young lady at the coffee bar or the waiter who served us in the log cabin. One heard: "Fautenhau Alm: 300P less, Sonnenhof: 400P less than last year". (Note: The Sonnenhof also belongs to the empire of Uli Ferber and the hit star Andrea Berg.) Here may be the explanation ..... Reason # 1: Unfriendly, macho behavior of the Arabic / Turkish / Romanian / Bulgarian security staff destroys every party feeling. Reason # 2: This year there was "wardrobe constraint", which was clearly signaled by the security staff at the entrance. € 2 per jacket ... ok, we thought. However, an additional € 2 was required to deposit a handbag. Upon re-entry after the fireworks: pay another € 2. Blockade wall of up to four security gorillas Many guests scolded and paid, some brought their jackets to the car (including us) but a large part ended the party immediately after the fireworks and drove home prematurely and frustrated. Reason # 3: During the fireworks there was sparkling wine and mulled wine for € 3 on the forecourt, also sold by unfriendly, gloomy staff. I ordered three mulled wine (according to the price list 0.2l) I couldn't believe my eyes: the mulled wine cardboard cups were one third full, I guess 60ml = three shot glasses. I complained and asked with clear words to fill up the cups. I voluntarily handed over € 6 over the counter, so € 5 per mulled wine. The cups were grumpily refilled to about 150ml - but never made full. And now it came: the seller adamantly asked for an additional € 3, or € 6 for the "double portion". I complained after the fireworks to the German-speaking blonde at the entrance, who quoted the seller as it was confirmed: the "poor guy" was wrongly instructed. "Someone said: half a cup is 0.2l". The lady said: "That was a misunderstanding" ... but no excuse ... nothing. Incidentally, the paper cups did not have a calibration line. Such containers are not approved for sale. Reason # 4: Live bands poorly selected or listless. There were four locations, two bars with DJ were smoking areas, the non-smoking areas "Blockhaus" and "Dinkelacker Alm" had live music. "Volle Patrone" - a folk duo, whose repertoire was exclusively folk music like polka and waltz ... sometimes 30min but not all evening. "Campus" - a really good, young cover band, which only appeared on stage after 24:00 with friendly faces and only managed to get their - then younger - audience to celebrate. Before New Year's Eve, the faces of all the musicians (exception: the singer tried hard): "I don't feel like playing in front of so few people" ... the dance floor was (therefore?) With a max. 15P occupied ... but well, at least you had room to dance. The sound was badly mixed, the title selection was a little unfortunate and badly matched to the (dancing) audience before midnight. We would like to come back if the security staff were replaced by more professional supervisory staff and it was ensured that the service staff at the serving counters knew the basics of gastronomy and the German language. One more, but after that we will draw our conclusions ... we promise.

We were invited here as guests of a wedding. The food was very tasty. There was the smoked fish, meat, steamed vegetables to Schnitzel everything your heart desires. The staff was always friendly and quick to operate and clear. I would recommend the location.

Good food, friendly service and great ambience

Super wedding location. The food is unbelievably good and the rooms have a great atmosphere! They take care of everything and respond to all requests. Even if it was very short-term, everything worked out great. Gladly again!

Everything great! I can only recommend it. Price performance ratio ok. Friendly service. Beautiful landscape. AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Meals: main course served cold, side dishes came 20 minutes after the meat, dessert with lumps. Toilets: never seen toilets in such a hygienic state in a restaurant. Staff: really very dedicated and tried hard, therefore 2 stars.
